Privacy

In effect from 25 October 2026

Vaumu collects no personal data from you.

Your stories stay on your phone

Every story, character, photo and setting is stored only on your device. Vaumu has no accounts and sends your stories to no server.

Photos

Photos you pick for characters, wallpapers or messages are used inside the app and stay on the device. Vaumu asks only for permission to add pictures to Photos when you save your work.

Purchases

Vaumu Pro subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple. We never receive your name, email or card details; Apple only tells the app that you are Pro.

No ads, no trackers

Vaumu uses no ads, analytics or third-party trackers, and shares data with no one. This site uses no cookies or analytics either; the hosting provider processes your IP address only to deliver the page.

Deleting your data

Delete a story in the app, or delete the app, and its data leaves the device with it. Your iCloud or computer backups may also hold app data; those backups are managed by Apple and you.
